An excellent end to an excellent series but now the inevitable let down sets in when I realize there is no next book. The series had a Dr. Who like vibe in that there was a powerful being in the form of a faerie queen Lune who lives just outside the normal human world and protects it from a variety of otherworldly and mundane threats with the assistance of a series of human companions/Princes over the course of a three hundred year reign. I liked that the series didn't always follow a strictly linear storyline and sometimes jumped around in the timeline it added to the sense of otherworldliness of the faerie court.
